Mud, Sweat & Tears
There were plenty of things I could have been doing today, Sunday papers, bacon buttie, coffee etc
Instead I got up, woke the children, frantically showered, made Joshua his breakfast whilst Sam got her own.
Both loaded in the car we set off, Sam was dropped at Truro station, taking herself off to Plymouth to meet her friends, Joshua and I continued on to Fowey.
After an hours drive we reached Lankelly-Fowey RFC. It's no wonder they prefer to play their matches away, some would describe their facilities as 'spartan', primitive would be a better description.
On a wet, windy and muddy day the Falmouth lads came out on 28-15 if this was their last match of the season they acquitted themselves well.
Post match munchies in the 'Golden Arches' saw Josh trying to eat his own body weight.
Home, fire lit, 50% water change in the fish tank and settled back go the second Hunger Games movie. With thirty minutes remaining I was up and out to collect a cold and wet Sam from Truro station.
Home and an hours grace before we set of to the Ghurka Nepalese Restaurant for the buffet. Clare will join us there around 8:30 - Looking forward to it.
