From The Poop.

There is certainly a holiday feel about the place today. It has been another hot and beautiful day and the beach was busy with the locals, playing, sunbathing and even swimming in the sea.

Our rooftop decking, already christened "the Poop", is nearly completed and we were able to sit up on it this afternoon and take in the view. The deck is about a metre high and so affords us an uninterrupted view of the sea over next door's adjoining wall.

By Wednesday, it should have a balustrade around the edge and some steps to get us up there. I shall publish a photo after the official opening!
