Out for dinner with Friends on Friday night and I was a bit blunt with Tim when his behaviour overstepped the mark. I think I was right to do or say something, but a little more tact could have been used.

Was sitting here as 08:30 approached, wanting to use the bathroom but waiting for Di as she needs to get in there first and out the door to school. She seemed to be in no hurry so I commented that she was running unusually late. She laughed and reminded me that she is now on holiday. That will also explain why her alarm clock didn't go off at 7 as usual. Doh. Excuse me, I'm off to answer the call of nature .....
