Marquise

First photo of my first day of work. It's the roof of Gare Saint-Lazare in Paris being lit by a beam of early sunshine. Well I haven't got that much time to write today as I am due to start in 15 minutes! I hope the blip doesn't look to bad as the sun is blinding me a bit and I cannot see my screen properly! I hope you all have a good day wherever you are and whatever you are up to!

By the way I called this entry "Marquise" because this is the name of the iron and glass structures covering the trains in Paris stations. They originate from the 19th century and most of them are in bad need of repair: after all they are old ladies!
