True Blue

It was a blue-sky dream of a spring day, and we went for our first backpacking expedition of the year, to the Quehanna Wild Area. There was nothing but blue skies and blue reflections. It was sunny and warm and gorgeous, the kind of day you dream about and wait for all winter long. A day well WORTH waiting for.

I promise to tell you more about the trip in tomorrow's Blip. Right now we've just gotten back home, and are unpacking and catching up with that Tabby, who's not used to being left alone. The sound of his purring is deafening, as its echo rattles off the walls. Oh yes, there are some who make it clear when they are glad to see you come home! :-)

So for now, here's a picture of perfect true-blue sky (unretouched, I swear; yes, the sky was THAT blue!). And a promise to tell more of the tale in tomorrow's Blip!
