A new dawn .....

I woke up at five am this morning, took all my painkillers and lay down again to give them time to work. I got up about an hour later with great difficulty and slowly went downstairs to see to the cats. As I passed the front door, I noticed a pinkish light coming through the windows and grabbed the camera. It was a lovely sunrise.

I was back at my GP this morning and he has taken me off one of the painkillers, increased the other and given me an anti- inflammatory gel. It has made a real difference, makes me very drowsy but is certainly better at controlling the pain.

I hope to be able to venture out of the house for a walk tomorrow if the weather is ok.
