Down in the woods

Went down in the woods for a few minutes today for a quick amble.
Walking alone in the woods can often be a bit eerie, sound deadens, the floor a mixture of decay and new life, and light streaming through.

Here's a bit of last years autumn leaves resolutely hanging on despite the emergence of spring.
