Ol' Yellow-eyes is back.

Arrived in Scarborough around lunchtime, so after a spot of something to eat, we had a very pleasant walk around Marine Drive to the Old Harbour. Not a great deal out to sea - the tide was out, but we did see plenty of Kittiwakes, a seal bobbing about, Turnstones, Redshank, a Purple Sandpiper and a possible Rock Pipit. Oh, and plenty of assorted gulls. This Herring Gull was sitting on the sea wall and was very keen to pose for a photo. The heavens opened about 5 pm, so we dived into a cafe before making our way back.
