Meet at Southside today against Elmont, Great Neck South, and Southside. I ran the 1600 (4:50) and the 3200 (10:39) and I should have done much better. My legs felt good, but the competition was smarter than I was. It was nice seeing some friends, though. I raced against my future teammate, Alex, too! He beat me in both my races, but I'll attribute that to his home-side-of-the-Meadowbrook advantage.

Quick shower before heading to the podiatrist to deal with my gross toe. Progress has been made, and hopefully it'll be all good in a few months.
