Round the village

Went for a walk round the village this afternoon, as had spent the morning at home group and then eaten a horribly calorific shepherd's pie for lunch! It was a mix of sunshine and cloud this afternoon, with a very cold and strong southerly breeze straight off the sea. There were some beautiful, if rather wind-blown, flowers to see which included the unusual pale coloured tulips and the lovely blossom. Just about all the blossom trees are flowering now - even the cherry that usually blossom in May. It's a bit ironic that the strong winds have still managed to arrive as they open even though they're a month early!
