Help meeeeee!

Came across this limpet that had been 'turned turtle' due to some of our pupils yomping across the rocky shore today. You can see its nice strong 'foot' that it usually clings tight to rocks with. You will be happy to hear that I turned it the right way over before moving on (after taking a quick photo) .......

Today some of our senior pupils joined with our visitors from Virginia Beach to carry out a survey of invasive species at Ballymacormick Point in Co Down. It was very cold and fingers became numb as the session wore on. We did get results, though, so will upload them onto the national database before the end of the week!
