Digging a hole

Another day at work and I still feel like I'm catching up on sleep after being out Wednesday night with a friend and getting used to extended summer hours. I feel like there is so much I want to do but so little time including taking a photo! Something seems to be happening on the derelict sight near my flat, there are some digging machines and it appears that a hole has been made. Is it possible that something nicer than an empty muddy lot will finally come to fruition? I'll keep my eye...or camera for that matter on it! I had taken a few photos of the machine as whole but I kind of like that fractured nature of this image and a ambiguity of the shovel appearing from the top of the photo.
