My first shoes xx
We collected Eva from Liza's this morning, brought her home to play and then have her sleep at lunchtime. Once she woke, she had her lunch, then off we set to Clarks in Mothercare, Solihull, to go and get Eva's feet measured for her very first ever pair of shoes.
I'd sent her to nursery with a few different footwear options for when she goes outside, to keep her little feet dry and warm. Each time she pulled them off and her little socks still got wet or cold. I thought, now she's pulled herself up a few times, we would go shopping for cruisers, which are a softer version of shoes, but would really do the trick, plus they're really cute.
First she had her feet measured sitting on her Daddy's lap. Her left foot was a size 3G and her right foot was a 2 1/2 H, so we were told she is a 3G. There were 4 styles of cruisers to choose from in stock in that size. We tried a couple of pairs on and settled on the little pale pink T bar ones with the little butterflies on. Oh Eva looks so cute wearing them. :-) With them on her feet, off she went for a crawl around the shop, happy as can be.
We got lots of photos and I filmed her feet actually being measured too. :-)
My dad came round when we got back, so Grandad got to see Eva's brand new shoes. Eva was very taken with her new footwear and looked proud as punch wearing them.
A very exciting day xxx
