Wearing my new shoes to nursery :-)

Eva was so proud and excited wearing her new shoes to nursery today :-)

Activities: Eva loved the rice play today. At one point she was sat in the middle of the tray! We used our hands to explore the texture and spoons to scoop it.

Wow!! Eva slept for 2 1/2 hours today at nursery, on a par with at home. It probably has to do with the fact there are only 3 children in on a Monday so it's obviously quieter.

When I collected Eva this evening, Natalie gave me a booklet all about the Explorers room and told me Eva would start her settling in sessions to that room soon. I was a bit taken aback by this news to start with, as I wasn't expecting it, but Natalie said that Eva's little friend, Ellie, will be moving too at the same time. Eva and Ellie started at nursery on the exact same day, so it will be great to move up to the next room together too. Reading the booklet all about the Explorers room also helped, as it sounds wonderful and Eva is going to have a great time! During outside play, they share the area with the Discoverers room too, so it will also mean she gets to see and play with Eva Shephard at nursery too.
