Blowing hot and cold

What a beautiful day for flying. Left Heathrow in bright clear weather on route to Italy. We will spend tomorrow driving the new Jeep Cherokee on the road and also off-road on tracks at the Balocca test centre, owned by the Fiat group.

On arrival at Milan Malpensa airport this afternoon we didn't have far to go, just across the terminal to an adjoining hotel. This was an unexpected bit of drama on the way there: as we walked through a wide passageway towards the hotel, the ceiling suddenly erupted with big jets of vapour, in a dramatic display of activity from the air conditioning/ventilation system. Weird. Hope we don't blow hot and cold about the car. Tomorrow will tell.
