Balancing act

A sunny day in Italy driving the new Jeep Cherokee. Spent most of the morning on road routes, but we also tried the car on an off-road course. It comprised a variety of obstacles, including tough 70 per cent inclines, similarly steep downhills, rock trails and some severe articulation crawls - to sample the Cherokee's proficiency at dealing with situations where the axles tackle steep opposing slopes and wheels losing contact with undulating surfaces. It feels as dramatic as it looks.

Landed back at Heathrow mid-evening and drove north to Leeds, ready for a new Kia Soul driving event tomorrow. Quieter week next week, fortunately.
