Orme's Sight

Had a productive day Christmas shopping and getting those luxury provisions including a monstrous piece of topside of Beef from our favourite farm shop near Longridge. Finished up on Beacon Fell watching the golden sunset. The stone sculpture is called Orme's Sight the right eye is drilled through the stone and is lined up with the Great Orme at Llandudno in North Wales. If you go round the back on a clear a day you can spy Wales.
