Running free!

A slow morning for me as I went to sleep at 3am, Sophie arrived at 8, she is exactly halfway in age between India and Heidi, my cousins daughter, I call her my missing middle child and the girls call her their cousin. We love her a lot and they are a happy gang together.

We met Hels, Jenny and their girls at Boscombe and all scooted down the pier, mums included and then released the girls to run on the beach. This is them with a couple of other children. Heidi who had been grumpy all day ran around and danced in the surf, eyes shining with happiness.......and then she fell in. I was equipped with spares so all was fine.

We went to see Grandad in the evening he looked very smart after a haircut today and his garden looked amazing. Green fingers is an understatement. He has even started cooking and we chatted about recipes. My Nanna died last year and my Grandad is doing so well, I am really proud of him.
