Uluwatu

Uluwatu is a sea temple in Bali. Set atop a strikingly beautiful cliff, Uluwatu is also home to a bunch of naughty monkeys. We came in the evening and watched the sun set over the water, and the tourists get harassed by monkeys.

We started the day with a flight from Yogyakarta, some time at the beach in Nusa Dua, and then after visiting this temple we ate a seafood dinner on the ocean (table on the sand) at the Blue Marlin. We enjoyed crab and shrimp, drank tropical cocktails, were serenaded by an Indonesian quintet, and mistaken several times for honeymooners. :)
