My day...

...as a scrubber!
..well mostly! - vigorously applying sugar soap and elbow grease to the ceiling and walls, having sanded and smoothed. I then did some over painting, undercoating and more sanding and more washing (with a tad of vacuuming in between).
I actually quite enjoyed it. It is my project and Fred has agreed to let me get on with it. (I did enlist him to take off all the fixtures and fittings.)

I didn't get out much, though - just to Homebase with Fred (prised him from the computer) to get the paint mixed and bought.
When I got home I realised that I needed a new large roller for the ceiling :-( so I did the undercoating the shower area of the ceiling with the small roller and brush (it had been stripped back to the plaster in there)
