New Bridge Kx

I've not had an opportunity to cross the (re)new(ed) bridge in Kings Cross until yesterday. It's pretty cool.

Interesting day in London discussing the needs for research on the position of the (changing) UK in the (changing) EU, and an evening chez East Coast on crappy old rolling stock leased from Worst Great Western (apparently) coming home. It's astonishing. There has been no new rolling stock on the East Coast mainline for about 30 years.

But at least the stations increasingly look nice. So that's ok.
