New facility

I was expecting today's photo to be of Aberdeen, as I made a quick trip to the Granite City this afternoon to participate in a panel about #indyref, or perhaps more accurately, some aspects of #iScotland. In fact, I didn't get my camera out whilst I was briefly there, and so was left with this picture taken at lunchtime of a new Waverley drop off facility on Calton Road opposite the Ingleby Gallery that no one seems to be using yet.

Given the palaver now involved for taxis in getting in and out of the station (barriers and one of those big wedges that sinks into the tarmac) I suspect it will soon be well used for taxi drop offs, as indeed Market Street already is.
