In Town Today...

I first met Munroist4113 in Egypt's Western Desert four years ago. It's not that we bumped into each other while our camels took on water at an oasis, rather that we were both on a camping safari in the White and the Black desert sands and laid our sleeping bags near to each other under the stars.

We have kept up a tenuous link ever since and I have enjoyed the photo albums she has published of her many travels and also her cook book of family recipes.
Now of course she has become a blipper and we have a daily insight into each other's lives.

She was in town to meet a friend, but we managed to squeeze in a coffee and a news catch up, before she left for a cultural tour of the art galleries.

In the bus on my way home I found Professor Peter Higgs sitting on a single seat, precluding any close encounter, but I summoned up my courage to offer him my congratulations as I got off. I think he was not too displeased to be recognised.
