Doha Days

The aliens landed in Doha's souk this evening. A Thursday night is always party night as the weekend begins here. Tonight's party was full of stilt walkers and street performers more reminiscent of Edinburgh in the Festival than a petrochemical peninsular in the Persian Gulf! It all added to the mayhem and confusion that tumbles around the cobbled labyrinth of stalls and restaurants on a Thursday night. A great way to begin our short Easter holiday. Today at school was a fun packed day, too, with a Scottish themed assembly to say farewell to one of my Scottish colleagues on one campus and a stunning Talent Show on the campus that did not host yesterday's International Day celebration.
