Slender swans

It's no wonder a ballet was based on these beautiful, elegant creatures.
These were having a feeding frenzy at the river side, but still managed to look sublime.

We left Bishopstoke in good time, with a plan to stop for a break. We followed the signs for the park and ride, and meandered around Stratford in lovely sunshine. There were countless school parties (of all nationalities) and we wondered what they were really getting from the experience - although we watched a party being led by a man-in-very-tight-tights!! The RSC had some interesting displays, and the town was buzzing.

Back home, an evening at the pub and take-away supper.
