You just would not believe the fun we have!

Second Thursday of every month is our WI night and tonight we had the most wonderful speaker telling us about the year she spent as a civilian in Afghanistan. It was moving funny and educational and we all realised how lucky we are to have had the advantages of education and freedom. We were able to look at Burkas and as I was capturing my friend Christine trying one on another friend was offering hot cross buns.
Then we filled our diaries with details of outings including, Hever Castle, Bruges, Hastings, and Ham House, lunches, plant sales, choir practises, walks, book clubs and a thousand other things that an Afghan woman can only dream about. Perhaps one day....
