The Beauty Emporium

I'm giving college a miss for a bit after last weeks disaster!, so instead booked an appointment with 'professionals'.

This salon has only been open a couple of months, but they have been in Accrington since 2004, at a different premises.

The salon itself is lovely; I love the calmness of the decor and really liked the draped ceilings I'd like them in my dressing room.

The staff were also really nice; uniformly dressed and styled which kind of matched the salon.

I had booked in for my eyebrows to be shaped...not something I trusted a student to do, and I know with my luck I would get the dodgy one that did my manicure and end up brow less!

It was a relaxing experience and I've booked in to have them done again in a few weeks time.

Tonight we are off to Laura & Steve's, then tomorrow I'm out with the gang from work at a dental exhibition (freebies.....yay!) followed by food & possibly a cocktail or two.
