Peeping

Normally we don't do this; peeping into the control room.
From the main control room we can watch several spots in unit EC 20 by camera's (the same as they use in cities to watch the public).

Unit EC 20 is about to start and Tinus is watching the functionprogram according to wich the unit is going to start up.
Tinus is learning how to run that unit and this is a good excercise.
During start up we look over their shoulder to see if everything is going smoothly.
On the other monitors you can see part of the boiler room (with the main boiler leaking a little) and the auxiliary feedwaterpump (about 8 Megawatts = 10723 Horsepower).
We also can operate the unit from the main control room but as it is in another building we consider it better to operate it locally.
On the screen in the foreground you can see the controls of steamturbine and output.
