Spring sprung

Beautiful day today. I had a bit of a dicky tummy this morning, so decided I'd be safer staying at home than trying to get to work without having some kind of 'personal accident' (if you know what I mean).

Consequently, I haven't strayed too far from the door...

My friend Karen bought me this lovely plant when I moved into the house a couple of years ago - it's in a kind of wicker type pot, with cast iron little legs, and some ivy. The ivy seems to be struggling a little, but this lovely plant flowers beautifully.

It's lovely to see a bit of colour - and a bit of sunshine :-)
