Bleak

I completely missed the sunny part of the day today. The day started so well but instead of being outdoors on a walk or in my garden, I was in town, getting problems with my phone and computer resolved by the helpful staff at the Apple Store. By the time I got home the clouds had gathered and I had completely run out of steam. It really felt like a 'blah' day for me, although I was glad to get my problems sorted!

After an early dinner, we walked at dusk, as we like to do. After last night's stunning sunset at the same spot, it all seemed very dull and monochromatic, but I was thankful, nonetheless, for a dry walk, fresh air, beautiful birdsongs, and for living where I do.

These trees are just coming into leaf. This may be my last shot this season of my much-loved 'Naked Trees'.
