mezedes at brika

The plan was to meet my mate S in the city and walk to 'yum cha in the park' as part of Buddha's birthday celebrations.
So hot, humid and sultry was the day we got a far as the recently opened Brika greek cafe/bar and no further.

Lunch al fresco, sharing these delicious mezedes washed down with Mountain Goat Steam Ale and Kir Yianni 'Ramnista' Xinomarvo, a flinty and tasty drop of red that conjured up rare earth and rosemary.

And yes there was pudding too, Lokoumades and Baklava.
