April 12th 2009 - Colours

I woke unfortunately early today but found solace in a Villa vs Everton and my fried eggs on toast. I went into town to send a few emails and by the time I returned, everyone else was still asleep! I chilled on the balcony with Mia’s Ipod until the others were awake enough to head into town for some cheeseburgers. Back at the flat I watched Jurassic Park and the beginning of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers before I started to hide the Noggys with Mia for the Noggy Hunt (no Easter Eggs on the Galapagos so these little chocolate balls had to do) which went down a storm.

I went into town to pick up some drinks and saw an amazing sunset (as can be seen from the blip). I also ran into Helene, Karoline and Rikke (Rikke had the most incredible mosquito bites – literally all over) and I got coaxed into skipping rope for some local kids after they shouted ‘Gringo’ at me. Back at the flat I helped Christine prepare the meat wraps before I found myself singing ‘Always’ by Bon Jovi on the roof terrace under the stars – which I thought was a lot of fun but everyone else did not appreciate my singing!
