Inspired by Monty Don of Gardeners' World last night - a visit to the garden centre was in order today. How very convenient my favourite one is the nearest one to me - Woodlbank Nursery in Harden - a place of great joy and calm (and fabulous cake)!! Whoever does the displays there, is very creative…. as gardening is anyway I think! There's an old Chinese saying: If you want to be happy for a while - get drunk, if you want to be happy for a few years - fall in love, if you want to be happy for a lifetime - garden! (Though I'd say all three of those together would be the best scenario - though drinking sensibly of course!)
