Blue
This is such a pretty time of the year in the UK where all the spring flowers are out and colour can be seen everywhere. I love the shades of blue that one sees in the bluebells, grape hyacinths and these forget me nots, as not many other flowers are blue.
A quiet day at home today. We are trying to organise things for Luke's 18th birthday party next week - he is having a dinner at home with twelve of his friends and then they are going to a club in London on the King's Road, and afterwards they all coming back here to sleep (a mini bus has been organised as no trains will run that late) Our dining room table is not large enough so Gavin went off and bought wood this morning to lay over the table to extend it in all directions, which will be useful in years to come for other large dinner parties (not that we ever have dinner parties anymore, but maybe for large family dinners one day when our boys have their own families!)
Hopefully tomorrow my blip will be something from the marathon - I may even see Mo Farah in action!
