A green world

At this time of year, as we come out of winter and go into spring, I always notice how everything in the garden and the in woods around us takes on a green tinge. The wet winter leaves a residue of green on all wooden fencing, on the bark of trees, on gate posts, on everything...and there seems to be a build up of moss everywhere. The leaves are starting to bud and everything takes on a green glow.

I had planned to take some photos of a pretty pond in the woods but as I was walking to the pond it was so muddy and wet, my wellies kept getting bogged down in the mud, and then it started raining heavily. I gave up and went back to the car. So here is a quick blip of the waterlogged and muddy woods
