View from the Leicester Railway Station
When I came out from the Leicester Railway station, I spotted this church (Left most in the picture). I walked over to it as the architecture seemed attractive but I noticed that it has been converted into flats. It is the former St John the Divine Church on South Albion Street. Perhaps converting it into flats was the only way to save the building... (I haven't been able to find any information on the Web).
When I walked back to the station, I noticed these 'modern' blocks of flats (the third image on the right). So, within 500 yards from the station, I had moved through different eras of architecture, "beauty" and transformations.
