Looking down the Roads
BIGGER BOATS
This was Falmouth this evening. Interesting little glimpse of blue sky in a mainly grey but dry day. Then there's the sea, gently rippling in the enormous natural harbour that is Falmouth. There are a couple of big ships in the docks obviously having some work done on them. Then there are so many yachts it's impossible to count them and little ferries wending their way around and across the harbour. There were three tiny little boats full of young men who already were very merry at 5.30 in the afternoon all dressed in silver trousers and strange headgear. I can only assume they were a stag party - hope their "drivers" were sober. Didn't see many life jackets!
Falmouth seems reasonably quiet at the moment - I suspect that might change as the week goes on - but we are looking forward to the next few days of changed scenery and interesting goings on. I understand I am going to be initiated into F stops or something like that so watch this space!
