Moroccon lamp
This is really frustrating! Today I have been to the Atlas Mountains. I have walked over the most precarious wobbly bridge. I have bartered for a beautiful dish. I have seen camels and donkeys. I have wandered in a herb garden. I have had mint tea and barley bread in a traditional Berber village house. And I have taken a lot of photos.
BUT
I didn't take my iPad and I have no way of uploading photos from my camera to my iPad so therefore my blip is a lamp at the hotel taken with my iPad. I've been agonising over whether I should just skip it and back blip when I get home. But I made a vow to myself, one photo every day, on the day. So here it is. It's a beautiful lamp!
We got back to the hotel at 9pm, instead of the promised 7pm. Nancy was shattered but managed a quick bite to eat. Tomorrow we're out for another big day but Monday we'll relax by the pool.
We're here to celebrate my in-laws' ruby wedding anniversary. This hotel is not the sort of thing we would usually go for. It's big and all-inclusive and there are a lot of guests here. But actually we're having a great time just being together and there's lots to see and do so I'm happy!
I promise to catch up properly with everyone's journals when we get home in about 6 days time.
