Swimming underwater

Watched this pair of Goosanders feeding in the river at Kendal. The water is shallow enough to see the birds swim under water. A good find prior to the excellent Kendal Choral Society's rendition of Requiems by Rutter and Ledger in Kendal Parish church. A great evening
