Your number has been called

This is a strange display in a decoration shop: a few stacks of three digit numbers at random! I wonder how many people have a room number 536.... Hotels seem the obvious answer but this was photographed in such a tiny village that I doubt that hotel owners travel all this way for these little numbered disks.

This shop is situated in one very beautiful and typical Normand village called Lyons la Foret: meeting place of bikers from all over Europe! The constant roaring resonating in this small village is a usual Sunday feature during the touristic season which typically starts in April and ends in October. However well worth seeing for the traditional Normand timbered and red brick houses.
