Back to one of my favourite short afternoon walks along the riverside to Waterhead. The path was impassable for much of the winter because of flooding and, though still muddy in parts, it's great to do it now and keep my feet dry.

The trees by the river are starting to flower and I chose this, ahead of the fighting birds at the jetty, for todays blip post.
