light and shadow

Driving towards Elterwater the sun was shining on the Langdale Pikes so I stopped for a few photos.

It was a difficult decision to turn a lovely blue sky grey but a pink house in the middle of the photo made me try a mono landscape. Used a red filter effect to darken the sky as I've seen others do.

After the gym it has been a day of DIY, laundry and weeding. I'm off now to spend more time in the garden (on hands and knees with a trowel).
