Sometimes it's nice to be reminded that we're a family.
On some days it can take a very long time to get those small shoes on small feet, with various bargaining and attempted reasoning techniques.
We've had a lovely day watching the steam trains at the station, talking and playing with friends and then in the garden this afternoon followed by a walk across the fields before dinner. I've had lots of hugs and kisses, we've sung dozens of songs and only 1 tantrum... it feels like we've won tonight!
Two more weeks of hols - fab.
