Sunny Day

What a beautiful day it was today! After a slow start we headed over to a stretch of the Basingstoke Canal that we hadn't walked along before. It passes along the end of Farnborough runway, and we were lucky enough to see two small planes take off. I thought these were going to be my blip today, but as we walked back to the car I spotted this lovely blossom overhanging the canal. Just as I was taking my picture, this little chap turned up, clearly waiting for his close-up!

We saw so many ducks, swans, coots, moorhens, butterflies and other wildlife. It was teeming.

Back home for cocktails on the patio, and sunday roast.
