Egg custard
At around 7pm tonight I just fancied egg custard.
I gathered my ingredients and my utensils and aimed for the pyrex to discover we have had a little visitor in my dishes cupboard.
Mission aborted for egg custard and operation begins to sterilise and sanitise my dishes and cupboard.
They are all washed and boiled and now sparkling.
The mouse trap awaits its prey, laiden with nuttella chocolate spread. I have been told that mice don't go for the chocolate but this is from someone who has never set a mouse trap so i don't believe them. I tried chocolate last time and caught three so we'll see.
Mission previously aborted is now resumed and what started this whole episode off is now cooked nicely and I am, 3 hours later, looking forward to my egg custard.
