dew drop

I am useless at these close up shots and don't have any special macro lenses yet, but decided on a lazy Sunday morning to have a play around with what I could do by playing with shutter speeds and different exposures. I know I really need to do more of this teaching myself stuff, and am trying, but never seem to make the time...and I'd always rather bw out walking or busy than reading manuals and stuff! I find myself reading the same page 5 times and thinking ..."what "? So today I just messed about in the garden...and I was too lazy to get the tripod out so I know this could be much better.....but of over 50ish shots before bacon butty breakfast..I did like many of them...and this one of the single dew drop hanging inside a budding little new growth of leaves I thought was effective if not technically sound ! Bear with me...going to try a few more of these in next few days.
Then, another last minute whim, I am off to Venice for Easter weekend and it will be all gondoliers and cornettos and peach bellinis hopefully !!! :)
