Contemporay Art Museum

Today my parents and I stopped into the Broad Art Museum on the Michigan State University Campus. It is a contemporary art museum and a fascinating (if not out of place) building that we have been very interested in seeing the inside of. We were not disappointed... it was a lovely time. We spent more time exploring the art than I thought we would and really enjoyed discussing the exhibits with each other. The general theme of the installations on display were how we read, see, hear and process language.

The piece that spoke to me the most was by:
Fiona Banner, The Bastard Word, Graphite on paper
Courtesy of Fifth Street Gallery, London

In these graphite drawings Banner uses details of fighter planes to describe the letters of the English alphabet.
