Posing robin

I decided to come home via Craiglockhart Pond after going to the optician, and I had hoped today's blip would be a cute wee wren I saw hopping about in some ivy. He decided he didn't really want to show his face for a photo though, so I eventually gave up, but just as I was walking away I saw this robin posing and just waiting for a photo to be taken. How could I refuse?!

I've tried so many times over the years to get decent pictures of robins, but they move about far too much, so it was nice to see one staying still for a change! (well, for long enough to take a photo anyway!)
