Light and shadow...

It's not been easy to settle on a blip today,
but then I've not been able to settle on much at all just lately.
I tried some other things, then saw this.
This was the view from my window,
just for a few seconds.

It struck me, that without the darkness,
then the light would not be half as beautiful,
Or half as bright
