Taking a Break

Another trip to the recycling centre at Hazelhead today. No television this time, just cardboard. The large container in which cardboard is normally left was missing today, two skips were barely coping with the amount of material being brought in to the centre.

Duty done a visit to the park and associated cafe seem in order. Both cafe and park were very busy. For once not only is the sky blue, but after a cold start the weather felt quite temperate.

A fair bit of gardening going on, but the person cutting the grass near the Piper Alpha memorial seems to have taken a break. His lawn mower and tractor are present, but no sign of the operator. Well I suppose it was near lunch time. The daffodils here are in better shape than those I photographed at St Nicholas Kirk yesterday. I felt I could not really post a picture of daffodils two days in row, so here is the abandoned tractor and trailer.
